Keep blackwing lid or ditch it?

Hey Guys,
I have a 2002 SS that came with the 345 package (Lid & exhaust). Recently the rubber boot that connects the blackwing lid to the MAF (Oval into Circle) has torn. My question is do you think it is worth it to pay $65 with shipping from SLP for just a new boot so I can keep using the same lid or just pay a little more and get a complete new lid and hopefully not have the boot tearing problem. Has anybody else with a blackwing lid had this same problem?

Keep it It flows the same as if not better than all the aftermarket lids. Plus it has the Factory quaility that the aftermarket doesn't have.

I have one and have not had a problem with the boot, still looks good.
