Is it t-top or vert....then yes there's a lot of road noise,it's just the name of the game. I've owned 3 camaros and the road noise is all the same. There's just not any sound dampening material under the glass of the tops....and very little underneath the interior plastic.

It also matters what modifications have been made to it. More mods typically increases noise. . .except the "Dynomat-mod"

Your putting out almost 3x the horsepower over the v6 Mustang...I had at one time a 96 Mustang GT and on the dyno it only put out 150rwhp, the V6 is about 110 rwhp and your new Z28 is about 300+ rwhp. They is a lot of road noise, but they sure are fun to drive.

I don't know if I would say 3 times the power of the V6 Mustang. . .I wouldn't doubt the V6 could have 150ish RWHP, so that would be twice the power anyway, but to say only110ish? Sounds anemic!

Currently own 1995 Z28 (Silver-Automatic) - BONE STOCK!!!
Recently purchased 2001 Z28 (Black-6 Speed) - 3" Flowmasters and
other misc stuff. This, bad traction (2.21 60') and missed 3-4 shift
netted me 13.46 sec in the 1/4 mile. . .

These cars tend to develope alot of sqeeks and rattles. Most of the interior is plastic and is not put together that well so after awhile you will get noise from just about everywhere in the car. Most of us have learned to take this as a small setback considering the ammount of potential these cars have. Especially now that you can pick up an LS1 for around 11-15k. Just cant beat the performance for that price anywhere. Alot of people have found puting Sub Frame Connectors and strutt tower bars in have significantly reduced the noise by keeping the chassis of the car from flexing as much.

Yea I noticed the same thing... but I found a good mod to cover up the noise that is a easy fix and not too much money either... I got a 3inch cutout
