    I Miss My Baby!

well about three weeks ago i was on my way to work. i was coming up to a light and needed to make a left. i had to speed up a little (up to about 45mph) to make the light. when i went to start to slow down my brake pedal went to the floor. so instead of hitting another car i tried to go wide around them and didn't quit make it past the curb. i had it towed to the dealership to see how much damage there was. they wanted $2600.00 to replace the brake master cylinder, both lower A-arms, and for new brake pads. and since i knew that was a rip. i took it home and started to take it apart. insted of paying more for stock i just ordered BMR K-member and upper/lower A-arms. and now three weeks later they are still back ordered. im going crazy, can't wait to get back in the drivers seat. here are some pics

I feel your pain as well. I had a set of plug wires that were on back order for a month and a half one time. Wasn't in a hurry and didn't desperately need them at least.

ya i'll take some pics for sure. i already got the stock k-member out. it took about 2 hours. it was pretty easy. i also ordered new prothane motor mounts (old mounts where trashed), tranny mount, swaybar bushings and endlinks, and a set of steel Braded brake lines. And they SHOULD be shipping out my new k-member/A-arms this week. Thanks for the support

Your okay that's the main thing, is that all that basically needed to be replaced? Cause if so I consider you pretty lucky not to have body damage or serious chasis damage.

    dang that sucks.
lucky you didn't mess it up worse.

Last time went thru a slightly yellow light, I got pulled over and ticketed for running a red. He was telling me I had plenty of time to stop, I didn't even hit that gas thats how close I was. I was basically under the sob when it turned yellow.

Anyways, watch out for them yellows, them cops are being retarded about em'

So, why did the brake pedal go to the floor? You don't want that to happen again.
