2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Not my cup o tea as I prefer stock or lightly restified 1st gens. There is (or at least there was) a market for custom cars like this.
Don't be suprised if some knucklehead with more $$$ than brains offers upwards of $500,000 for it. After all it is a vert with a King Kong sized (707cid) 900+ hp stump puller under the hood....Last edited by 67CamaroRSSS; 12-06-2008 at 06:45 AM.

That car should bring more than 70 grand,,,hell that will barely get you a correctly restored number matching 69 Z28 nowadays.
You can't build that car for 70 grand anyway,,,,just the clutchless lenco alone will get you for 6 G's.
I'd hate to think what an all aluminum 700 inch motor would cost, but I'm willing to bet upwards of 20 G's or more.
That car would fetch a cool 100 thousand without trying. I wouldn't be surprised to see it roll accross Barrett Jackson next month and grab 200 thousand or more. There is nothing cheap about that car. Trust me, I work on this stuff for a living.

Sure they do. Especially if they have some pedigree and/or racing history. Even the cast iron COPO's are high dollar,,,and if you want to talk about a ZL1 the bar is raised even more. There are only 1 or 2 of those believed to even still have their original engines.
Just last year a 70 LS6 chevelle with some racing history sold for 1.2 million dollars. Shucks they produced roughly 4,400 of those cars, not exactly scarce compared to a COPO or Yenko. Especially a ZL1,,,only 69 of those made.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not supporting the price tag on this custom 69,,,they are just hard to put a price on, but it's definately going to fetch some serious money. Right now the current trend though is correctly restored cars fetching the most right now.

ugly ass interior...can't use the trunk anymore...and not diggin that shifter. no way in hell i'd pay that much for it...looks like nobody else would either.
personally i'm kinda startin to like the classic cars with the new engines and new model interior swaps...when done tastefully. saw that 1st gen T/A with the LS1 and GTO interior and really liked that.

I actually don't like modern interior in the classics either. Don't care much for the modern drivetrains either,,,I have 4th gens for that.
I prefer the classics as they were built.
As far as the shifter,,,if you want a bullit proof clutchless lenco that takes anything you can throw at it,,,thats what you have to deal with.
