So I went the track tonight, and my best time was 13.2!! I think I could’ve got into the 12's but I’m not very good at driving the car yet, well since I’ve done all my mods...
I have a 97 Camaro
Hooker LT
Y pipe, with 3" magna flow cat back
4.10 gears
UMI sub frames
And a torque arm
With Nitto drag radials\

Tonight was my first time ever to the track... and I’m addicted!!!

A guy I went to the track w/ had a a4 lt1 w/ 4.10's and shorties he ran 13.2's all day long. I say your real close man, list the 60' 1/8th mile etc.

I know how you feel. Been addicted for more than 35 years now. I flog the 02 as often as I can. It goes 12.60's @ ~108 now. It'll go faster as soon as I get my MT's. Then I'll be looking for "MORE POWER"! (read: cam and heads)

And I think I could’ve gone faster, I’m just not used to driving the car... it was just hard to keep it in the whole because I was starting to try and launch at like 3000 rpm and wow the car was just wanting to push out so hard that I red lighted it twice... But I will get it soon enough but this is all my times that are on the ticket

That's a pretty damn good 60' time. Anywhere between 1.5 and 1.6 is smokin' in a near stock LS1 or slightly modded LT1

I couldn't get that good of a 60' using Nitto 555R drag radials. They worked OK before I put the 3400 stall in. Best for me was a 1.769. That's why I've ordered some M/T's.
