how to install clear corner lenses

i just purchased a set of front clear corner lenses for my SS. How hard is it to change them out, and how do I go about doing it?

Easiest way is to pull the headlights out and do it from the top. There are 3 (7mm I believe) screws you have to remove from the turnsignal. It takes some work to get the corner over the bracket that holds the front bumper cover, but just stick with it. Also, be sure not to scuff your front bumper cover, when removing/installing the turnsignals.

I took the whole bumper cover off...it made things easier. You will be very happy with the completed project.

Removing the headlights is the easiest way. I think there is only one bolt holding them on. The whole housing and everything comes off as one piece. I got confused and thought I had to dissable the headlights to get to the turn signals. This is not the case! Job is very easy and looks great.

    afterthoughtsauto. $45.

they are very easy to install. you just open the hood. undo one blot from the back of the headlight assembly, and wiggle the headlamp out. then the corner light is right beneath it. that one has 3 7mm screws to undo. all in all an easy install. if you need pics, i took some.

The signal bulb is yellow, so it will still come on as yellow for the turn signals.
