How do you like your berger panel
hey guys, i just got done with my berger panel. i did it my self with a rattle can of flat black. so far i love it but i was just wondering how it will look after some miles and sun. what do you guys think of yours who had them a long time. how does the paint hold up, and how do you go about cleaning them, like usual i assume. you dont wax it though right?

did mine the same why almost a year ago and it is holding up great, i just use normal wash and a microfiber cleaning sponge, ive waxed it and it really had no effect on it....normally id just use spray wax on it rather than hand buffing it and ect

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
I love mine, Z28Thunder from here did mine for me, he has a paint/bodywork background.
I use this to protect mine with:

Its for painted surfaces that are not clear coated. No residue

yeah, i just picked up a set of stainless steel inserts for the camaro on the back, like the ones on y2kpewterss's and WOW they really set the panel off. I got them from emblem pros for like 30 bucks. great deal!

Light Pewter Metallic- 2001 Camaro SS
i love mine as well. Mine has a shiny finish though and was professionally painted as well. Definitely makes the car look meaner.

I love mine. Wouldn't change it for anything. Did it with a spray rattle can and put some clear a few coats of clear over it. Looks great to me

Cool thanks. I'll post pics when I get around to doing it. I'm just gonna get some rattle cans from auto zone.

I just bought a used panel off of ebay. Now I just have to decide whether I want to go gloss black or semi gloss.
It's supposed to be straight. No dings or damage. Guess I'll find out when it gets here.

Sunset Orange Metalic- 2001 Camaro SS
I bought a gloss black one out of a junkyard for $8 and liked the way it looked. Just for fun i scuffed it down and painted it semi-gloss and it still looks good, but i'm either going glossy or sticking with the stock one on my car. Not crazy about how the matte finish looks on white.
