slightly louder at idle
I have the Hooker CB and Aerochamber Muffler. I don't have any sound clips. It is slightly louder at idle than stock but deep throaty. At WOT it comes to life and sounds great in my opinion. It seems to get louder with age but still throaty and not raspy at all. Some people don't like the sys because the tail pipes aren't stainless (rust issues). I don't care because of the tone and will take steps if and whenever they start to show rust.

The owner of the Camaro that I was about to buy had Hooker uncatted. I sounded real nice. Had a good deep idel as well. I was about to install on my car but wasn't sure how it would sound with headers.

I love my hooker. To me, its the perfect exhaust for street use and everyday driving, its not loud or obnoxious but just right. I have a cutout installed with mine and when i want to be loud and obnoxious i just opened that up. Its a great exhaust system and i highly recommend it.

Hooker CB Pic's
I swapped out the dual tips that came with the Hooker CB Sys. I thought they hung out too far from the bumper. I replaced them with Gibson single slant outlet and shorter length. I treated the pipes with a high temp semi gloss rust inhibitor black paint from Carquest before installation.
