Holy Crap!
I just did the math, and I've spent over $3850 in car parts for my car. I'm only 19 years old. hahaha. Oh well. So far I've enjoyed everything I've done. I still have to drop around $1,000 for tires for my C6 rims I just bought, and I think I'm dropping another $260ish on a used BMR torque arm on ebay tomorrow. When will this end!?!?!?!

nice, i remember when i was 19, i was going through Marine Corps boot camp. many people get nice cars when they are young, but many fuck them all to hell. so treat it like you've got some since...although im not one to talk, lol. what all do you have done?

Lets see... Full Fluid/Tuneup, EGR/Air Delete/SLP Lid/Fan Switch,P&p TB, Custom TSS Stuff, Belts, both tensioners and both idlers, all new tires, tons of bulbs, all new brakes.
Ive spent about the same. Going for new tranny, driveshaft and new paint soon. I forgot I still have to weld in rockers and floor pans in my truck and get a new clutch for my WWII jeep..

well, I didn't include maintenance stuff like oil filters or oil, or bulbs, etc. So far I've done- SLP SFC's, UMI LCA's & panhard bar, FAST 78 mm intake, SLP lid, SLP bellows, SLP STB, flowmaster cat-back, full tune, Alpine HU and Infiniti speakers, custom head unit mount, billet grille, new windshield, I just bought some OEM C6 rims for $575, and I'm putting $1000 worth of KDW's on them. I need to buy spacers too. I also bought replacement taillights, new window motor, coolant bypass, and probably some other things. This is all off the top of my head. I keep remembering more and more stuff that I've bought for it since I got it in January of '06. I don't regret spending any of the money so far. With some of the other stuff I just remembered, the total is well over $4000 already spent.

I spent 5 hours detailing my car on 4th of July. about 15 of my friends rode their bikes over to come get me to go partying at 2 PM, and I told them I'd be done in 3 hours. They thought I was crazy. haha. My car sure got shiny tho. I love my car as much as I care for my dog.

hahaha, all the SLP stuff was from the first year I owned it. I doubt I'll be getting anything else from them. and ya, I probably wont be able to do much mods once I move out... that's why I'm doing them now. Just bought an adjustable BMR torque arm on ebay today for $235 shipped.

I was afraid someone would ask me that, I'm going to sound like an idiot. Well, I was washing my car with my dad, which I hate and will never do again due to the fact that my dad gets anxious and bitchy whenever we do anything like that together. He left the windshield wipers sticking up, and was bitching at me about getting all the door jambs and what not clean. So I popped my hood and went to lift it up, and well shit, the windshield wipers were up. I hadn't even thought about it since I always put them down after wiping the windshield down. The leverage of the hood pushing against the wiper arms put pressure on the windshield and cracked it. took 3 new windshields to get one without a wave in it. I guess they stopped making the OEM windshields a couple years ago. But ya, I totally forgot about the whole thing until last night when I was thinking of any replacement things I've gotten.
The cool thing was that the guy who replaced my windshield has a 99 SS with only 30,000 miles on it and is obsessed with Camaros. He knew everything about my car, and was really cool to do business with. He told me that he's replaced 100s of windshields due to people doing the same thing I had. I no longer wash cars with my dad.Last edited by bluefields88; 07-14-2008 at 01:15 AM.
