I would go with 6k if your doing HIDs the 8-10 gets pretty blue and kinda defeats the purpose

Thought I'd post an update. I just received my new headlights in the mail and am waiting for the bulbs from DDM. Fedex says they'll be here tomorrow.
Here are the new headlights...
I can confirm these are Sonar branded projectors.
I'll post some before and after shots once I get everything installed.Last edited by tpilews; 04-11-2011 at 01:42 PM.

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A w/ mods, 00 FBVert
Those will look good, can't wait to see on car.
I wish something like this could be put on T/A's that isn't the cost of new set of heads. I know there are some versions out there.
IMHO the lighting on a T/A is like 2 black eye's.

I'd like to see what these look like straight in front of your car. I bet you're blinding the hell out of people you drive by. That, or you have them pointed down so far, it's pointless to have HIDs in there anyway. Ask me how I know. This is why I've gone to a projector style headlight.

me and my bro got some 55watt 6k from ddm and the driver side likes to turn off randomly, me and my brother both have 6k 35watt from tspny.com, complete water proof and never had an issue almost had them for 2 years now. I still get brighted with my lows and fogs on haha

Yeah, I have had HIDs in a halogen housing for 6 months or so now. They are definitely brighter that stock, but light is scattered way too much in the housing. Honestly, it's actually against the law to have HIDs in a standard halogen housing. I wasn't much of a fan of any of the projector choices on the market either, but I'm going with better light output and safety for those around me over aesthetics.

mine are actually aimed pretty low compared to my moms and my brothers, never messed with them nor will i. I think they are fine, its mostly on my county road that i get the brights because itll be dark then i come over hill so my lights are aiming up, they dont wait to see what they look like on a flat road
