help turn signals dont blink
Okay I checked all the bulbs they are good.....checked the fuse its good.....tried a new turn signal flasher, it didnt fix the problem
It started this morning the left side turn signal when I turned it on the light just stayed on didnt blink.....after I got off work in the evening the right side started doing the same thing
When I turn on the hazzard lights only the rear ones work
Any ideas what it could be ?????
Its on my 2001 SS CAMARO

Try wiggling the bulbs out just a tiny bit. I had the issue with my Z where my right side wouldn't flash, just stay lit. When I pulled the front turn signals out, I literally just attempted to grab it(thus pulling it out a tiny bit) and it started flashing. Since then, they've worked with no problems. I also did all that you did, so I just left it. And by chance I was changing my headlights when I decided to check again and it worked!

I think your front bulbs may indeed be the problem.
I assume you say the bulbs are good because they still light up after you start the car, or after you turn the parking lights or headlights on?
These are dual filament bulbs - similar in function to the rear brake bulbs.
One filament controls the daytime running light (brighter light) function, the other filament controls the night time function (dimmer light).
When either one of these filaments go out, the lights will no longer blink.
The most econimical thing to do is replace the front bulbs. While doing this, you will notice that the sockets are filled with a special dielectric grease. Do not remove this grease.
The problem could also be with the bulb sockets themselves. During daytime running light operation, the sockets get pretty hot. The sockets in my 2002 RS look like they have been on fire at one point.Last edited by VChula; 05-26-2007 at 09:35 AM.

got it fixed the 2 front bulbs were bad.....best way to get them out is pull the car up on ramps and take to bolts out of the guard from under the car the guard just folds down like a trap door
