help with new purchase!

Alright guys im helping a friend that wants a 00-02 z28 or ss.. so i found her this z28 that has all the ss visual mods. It looks like a good car for 10k its a 02 z28 auto with 68k on the clock it has a few mods slp lid with looks like a muffler and a k&n. So is it a good deal? Should she jump on it?

Also does anybody know the codes for a Z28 and SS? it wouldnt hurt to check right

Looks nice! I really don't know codes but if he says its a Z28 i would believe him. The grill is defiantly aftermarket but i cant tell spoiler or hood. Seems like a good buy but i would try to talk him down quite a bit. Take it for a drive and listen for odd sounds, wheel pulling itself, all that good stuff. Good luck on your decision!

If it's a real SS it'll have WU8 on the door sticker. The front looks a little haggered, but that's a decent price. My car has around the same miles and looks way more clean...
