HELP with DD!!!!!
Ok guys, I'm going to pick up an STS rear mounted turbo kit. My question is, should I run it on my DD?

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
I may have misread the way you were asking the question as I went with God No. Maybe it should have been Hell yes.
You ask, "Is it stupid to run?" and I answered , "God no" because it isn't a stupid idea. Seems like Hell yes as an answer to your question indicates it would be a stupid idea.
Please be more clear and choose your words more carefully next time.
At any rate, I know of 2 guys who run an STS on their DD (1 on an LT1 and the other on an LS1) and neither of them have any problems.
I say go for it.67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...
2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior
2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
I have many meanings for what STS stands for, none of them positive. I wouldn't put that junk on my car if someone paid me to do it.
For starters, they are a nightmare to tune.

Read this thread, pay special attention to what Frost states about the STS kits. He is a well respected LS1 tuner.

I sold the kit, realized that the kit wasn't complete and I didn't want to waste my time with it. Sucks but now I can have a sweet sounding exhaust lol
