Silver & Black- 99 Camaro SS
Has anyone tinted their head lights?
I need to recondition my head lights or buy new ones. Has anyone tried the tints for head lights?

Hmmm, I would think that may hinder the lights output.
My eyes aren't as good as they used to be so I need all the light I can get.
I bought new stock lights for mine since I don't care for the Halo stuff either. The difference is night and day,,,,literally

The tint works similar to looking out tinted windows. (Should work a bit better, allegedly.) I want to think I've heard 20% is like no effect on your visibility and 10% maybe slightly noticeable.
I wonder how difficult it is too apply. (If it hampered night driving I'd just take it off.)

I haven't seen anyone doing this on head lights. I think it would greatly effect visibility.

Considering that too but I thought I might play with my head and tail lights before I rip 'em out! Might like it!

Isn't tint on your headlights illegal? I don't know personally so I figured I would ask. Unless you want to "black out" your car I wouldn't bother tinting the lights. I had that yellow haze stuff in my headlights and I bought Halo's which sucked balls. So after I wasted $200 on those I went and bought stock replacement. I think I like the stock replacement better. They enhance the look of your car by making it look "new". (Only if you keep the rest of your car clean I suppose.) If you do get the halo's though I heard the two bulb ones are good stuff. I personally bought the three bulb ones, and they sucked.

Tinted lenses of any sort front or back is illegal in some states. I know Ohio was one. And I can understand why. Some taillights are so dark you can't tell when the guy is stopping in front of you in the daytime. Thats a dangerous problem.
Quite frankly if someone really cared about their car the last thing you want to do is impare the taillights to the point where someone rearranges the back end for you.
As far as headlights go, well I think that goes without saying.
