hand held tuner
my friend has a 04 subaru wrx and he has a hand held tuner. with his tuner he can delete change the maps on he ecu and raise his boost settings, step up a 2 step, air fual, and other things and not sure how much power he gets but you can tell a difference. is a diablo hand held tuner do just about the same things? what all can you do? and does it make a difference?

it has a limited amount of things it can do.....are you an auto or stick car? It can firm shifts and change shift points on the auto's. It has a performance tune that you can adjust somewhat. I'd say overall it'd get a few more HP. A cheaper and better alternative though would be to do a mail order through Frost on here. $125 and you'll definitely notice a difference.
What mods do you have and do you plan on any major mods in the near future? If so I'd do those first before doing a tune.

Waste of money.
Either drop the coin for a proper tune, get a Frost mailorder tune, or learn HPTuners and do it right.2008 Trailblazer SS
