came acrossed some GTO owners in Philly They were Rude is all. Theres been alot lately even my Friend. IMO IMO IMO IMO IMO IMO IMO!!!!

Looks like you opened that thread in an abbrassive nature. I don't really get the point?

In my opinion LS1 F-body, vs LS1 Goat, vs LS2 goat will all be a driver's race. but with equal drivers and LS2 GTO should have the edge on you.

im not stupid everyone ok lol so all i said is my opinion on the gto drivers i have encountered is all!!! mod for mod on ls1 fbod vs ls1 goat you should already no the results ok. and obviously the ls2 is a going to respond great and mod for mod no i dnt stand a chand mod for mod but even stock ls2 vs my car im confident if i get a good launch i can hang . thats all im saying i love the car its a gm vehicle lol and has the ls powerplant but there not THE FASTEST CARS ON THE ROAD is all im saying ok !!!

and anyway i like the gto but its still doesnt carry out the legacy of the orginal and looks more of a grand am or g6 or w/e just doesnt scream Muscle "Cosmetically" atleast Engine Wise With out a Doubt!!!!!

I don't think anyone thinks that. Especially when you think about the GT500 or the Z06.

BTW..For under 100K- I dont think you can beat 07 Z06 with some drag radials.

i personally like the looks of a gto, and unless you testdrive one, i wouldnt knock them....however i can see a stock ls1 gto taking a stock pre 01 ls1 f-bod with the 2.73's if that counts,lol

I have a similar video of me against a stock 02 SS the same day and the race was a lot closer. I believe that was an LS2 GTO.

yeah but you have to admit that was a nice rt and 60' from you...and that gto looked like there was a girl driving it (no offense to the sauty wenches on here)...not to mention you ran a 12.2, which is a nice time might i add...that ls1 gto prob ran what a 14 flat? lol

Dude follow these steps
1.take a deep breath,
2. Read,
3.think,
4. (If needed) repeat 1-3 until you understand what people are saying.

You're post was abbrassive towards GTO's. (A fellow LS1 vehicle). You post a link, to see if we would jump on your GTO bashing thread. No one jumped on your one man band-wagon.

You then get all defensive, implying that "people" think they are unbeatable. When not one person even remotely could believe that. There is always a faster car.

By me pointing out the GT500 cobra and the ZO6 was showing how obvious it is that there are faster cars on the market, debunking you crazy theory that GTO owners think that the GTO is the fastest thing on the roads.

Remember before replying to this.. Follow the steps...
1. Take a deep breath
2. Read
3. Think
4. Repeat 1-3 (if needed)

In case of emergency step 5. Take a Chill pill.

i got beat by a ls2 gto by about a car...they are fast but like showtime said ...they do look like a grand am ...and well thats the only thing that throws me off about those cars...

---Seems like we have a case of penis-comparison-itus. A common problem with young 18-22 year old men. In some instances it has effected even older people.

A cure for this, is to race and lose to a well built 4 cylinder. This may need to happen a few times, before the cockyness wears off. This may take several years.. But rest assured this almost always is cureable.

The GTO I ran did a 13.6 . I ran a stock 02 SS the same day that ran a 12.8 @ 108.

My 60' & tree sucked. That was only a 1.9 60' and I left @ 1500rpm.
