    Got it tuned.....

Well i had the SS tuned this weekend. I found out alot about the car and alot of things that was suposed to be in it according to the previous owner that wasnt. Anyways the baseline pull was 277hp and 300 torque. stock tune.
after a few more tweeks and adjustments fighting a hott car since im still running the stock thermostat. it pulled down 310hp & 319 torque.
a Dynomite dyno. was used for the pulls.
Lid, k&N, shorty headers with cats, cat back with spin tech muffler.

That is quite a jump up in horsepower. Any reason you are still running the stock stat?

    2002 Z28 A4 NBM
    Sadly now demodded :(

I'm surprised it was that low on the baseline pull. My 02 Z did a 306rwhp/323rwt baseline (stock down to the paper air filter) on a DynoJet here in PHX.
    67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...

2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior

    2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.

    Carbon footprint? CLOWN SHOE!

yea me too. i was a bit disapointed myself. Rob and the owner of the dyno called the dyno, a heart breaker dyno... Big numbers on it are harder to get on it than others.

Yep, dyno's are like that. Important thing is you made a nice improvement with a simple tune. Always stick with the same dyno for your changes so you know you're heading in the right direction.
