2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
Nope, camaro gets good enough, it's hard to justify very few hwy mpg's gained. I could care less about city mpg, I drive almost all hwy anywhere I go anymore. If gas gets over 5 here, I may look into a cheap 4 banger, but won't trade my car to get it.

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
If they ever bring back the Supra, and keep it in an inline 6 turbo form of some kind.... still wouldn't trade the Camaro, but I'd be saving up for a good down payment That or watch the price fall on the MKIV's and go pick one of those up.

NEVER!!!!!
I drove a 69 Camaro with a 396 during the 1st gas crisis...
I drove a 69 Chevelle with a 396 during the 2nd gas crisis...
The 98 gets way better gas mileage than either of those 2 so I ain't changing now.67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...

Hellno. Gas prices will be the last thing that determines keeping my car or not.

Sunset Orange Metalic- 2001 Camaro SS
I've been taking the highway to work more often so that helps a little but if it came to the worst I'd do what arctic said and try and find a cheap four banger. The ss is here to stay.

Not a chance. I just ride my bike to work more. If they hit $6 gal I will be riding it all the time. I usually don't ride in the rain unless I'm on a long trip but at $6 gal my rain suit goes on!

I agree is this serious? The only good things about these cars are the styling and engine. You put in the v6 and there are tons of better DDs out there. Besides the v6 only gets a couple mpg better. Not worth the trade off.

navy blue- 2002 camaro ss
Iwould trade if it was an even trade for a 2011 v 6 camaro. The v6 isnt that much slower in the quarter mile than a stock ls 1. But at the same time the v6 doesnt really get much better mileage either. I just kinda dig the 5th gen style
