    G-Tech

Any of you guys mess around with these G-Tech units?

My buddy let me barrow his last year when my only mod was the LM1 catback exhaust.. ran a 5.38 0-60 and 13.4 1/4 MI

This year (this week), (with my 130lb friend in the car and a full tank of gas) ran a 5.34 0-60 and 13.5 1/4 MI..

The additional mods this year were the Koni shocks/strano springs, slp lid and ws6store short stick..

I am feeling like i could do better than this 5.34 0-60 because the additional weight in the car but we will see.. plan on going to the track at some point and seeing how accurate these units actually are

i read the 1/4 trap times are usually 4.5 mph faster than they should be and the time is .1 second too fast...

So, do you guys think koni shocks/strano springs actually improve 0-60 times or not really?

I think you should take it to a track and get a real number.... Those things may be good, but they aren't as accurate as a track. So before you beat yourself up, shoot it down the dragstrip a few times.

I have a G-Tech SS just as the pic. I'm impressed with it but to be honest haven't used it much. Now that I'm done with my head/cam upgrade and just had it tuned I need to get it back in the car for some fun.

With too many variables such as days, road conditions, weight change, etc.. I wouldn't put much concern in the numbers and expectations.

Its a cool lil toy for sure.

I bought one from a member on here a while ago.. It's a cool little toy but I don't take it too accurately..
    My best on that was a 13.1 @ 110mph, 2.01 60ft.. That was with, Headers / TSP X Rumbler / LS6 Intake
