yep thats about all the power a z28 has, They just dont produce any power over 100 and have a hard time hitting 120.....

Or it could be you'r factory limitor seeing they are at 120 or somthing. If you'r car came with z rated tires from the factory, it will have a 160 limitor or somthing like that. Its a good thing my car dont have this limitor!!!!

Yep, check the tire speed rating on the drivers side door.

well the tires that i have are basically no names they came with the car but it gets up real fast to 120 it just cuts out when i get up to it other than that the car is fine im guessing its just a factory limitor if so does anyone know how to get rid of it

If the car didn't come with Z rated tires (on the door) believe the speed limiter is set about 115 from the factory. Easily removed with tuning - if you are going to make a habit of running that fast at sustained speeds be sure the tires can handle it. Speed rating of the tire should be on the sidewall.

Almost any will allow you to move the speed limiter up to a higher level but if you don't have W or Z rated tires I would leave it alone as you need to live past 18.

dude just listen. You dont need to be going faster that 120 even with z rated tires. You are just asking for trouble.
