NBM / Silver- 00 SS / 71 SS Elcamino
looks nothing like the concept. I don't like this thing much.
Maybe in a different color? I really don't like white.

Just thought I would remind everyone who is putting down the new camaro... that this is what the first 4th gen camaro looked like
Come on now... don't tell me this thing looks better than the new concept - that thing was ugly as fuck in plain trim, change the wheels, change the hood, a few cosmetic things here and there and the car could look pretty bad ass right?
Same deal with the new one... all of you who are shitting on the new design will be eating your words when you see a new one rolling down the streets that someone has customized just a little bit. Mark my words
Not trying to start shit here... just looking at the realistic side of things.

I really loved the concept Camaro pictures I saw from different car shows. Why didnt they just go with that design? The white Camaro in the pictures above doesnt look near as cool. I was all for the new Camaro but now I dont know what to think. Look at the ass end! I sure hope they change what they have going on there-unless its just because its white and doesnt show the curves/lines as well? I dunno.

I don't know if I dig the retro thing. I kinda wish GM had taken a clean slate approach. The car just doesn't look fast. I wonder what the after market will come up with as far as styling upgrades.
Does anybody else think the front end kinda looks like the old G-body Monte Carlo SS's?

I DO like the front end and was excited when I saw it. It looks close to the concept. I was one of those bashing, I still don't like the fact that it appears beefier/longer than the concept. It APPEARS to be riding higher too.
I just want it to weigh less than 3500 lbs and not be too wide/tall/big ass.

Even though I loved the concept, I was also wanting them not to go Retro. It will be interesting where the design goes from here, which typically means increasing aerodynamics and futuristic styling.

As the terminator would say, WRONG.
I am not saying the first 4th gen camaro is or isn't better than the new concept, but how could you utter the words "ugly as fuck" referring to it? That's harsh. It's a nice looking car, and I especially liked the LT1 front end.
As far as the nose of the new camaro, it sort of reminds me of the 2nd gen Trans Ams. At least that white one does.

Black- 2000 SS Camaro M6
I think it might grow on us all, especially once we start to see them out on the street or at the track. I have been wrong before though.

The front end has to keep with Chevy's "split grille" thing that they have going on with the Impala, Monte Carlo, Malibu, etc. I think it looks okay. Not the greatest, but I've seen plenty of uglier front ends on cars (like the newest CR-V). Like peteSS said, it could grow on us. I used to hate the '98-'02 front end, but after seeing enough of them (in addition to owning a 2000 SS), I've come to like it. I'm sure it'll be the same with the new one.

I think the color is the problem more now that I looked at the Monte SS in white and it dont look that good either and I like the Monte front end. I basicly think the new front sits too high , stick a little horse in the grill and it looks like a mustang, in fact the whole body is starting to look fordish.
