Finally getting a LS1 Camaro

Hey guys im about to buy a 2001 or 2002 Camaro SS or Z28 auto trans with ttops,i found this black 01 SS that i really like it has everything i described with the addition of 18/19 C6 wheels,headers/exhaust,custom stereo,tune etc has like 120k miles,but im also looking at a few others too,i currently own a 2000 T/A WS6 so i kno what to expect & look for as far as the drivetrain,but what are known issues with the Camaros body parts both interior & exterior? I have owned several fbodys,but all were 4th gen T/As this will be my first Camaro ever

You're gonna be looking about the same issues with trans ams. You just don't have to worry about headlight motors now lol. Congrats on the new purchase

thanx,one two things i might change though,the Camaro door panels to Trans Am door panels & probably the Camaro center console to a T/A console

one of my brothers has Trans Am seats in his 95 Z28 they look great,but i dont like the 93-96 Camaro dash too much & my other brother has T/A door panels on his 95 Camaro IMO they look kind of out of place in a 93-96 Camaro,i think T/A seats/door panels flow better with the 97-02 Camaro interior,im going for a 2001-02 Camaro because of the LS1 with the LS6 intake/heads & i really like how refined the interior is in the 97-02 models

Ive been looking for an ls1 camaro for awhile. people are ALL OVER the place with prices. Kbb/Nada means absolute shit to the sellers now

you are absolutely correct it was the same thing with my current Trans Am,i found an 01 SOM(my favorite color)BTW Camaro SS(it was a true SS) RPO codes were on the door ttops,leather,A4,low miles,10 spoke wheels,it had every option available,i really wanted that car it was priced at $6995,but it didnt stay on the nissan lot for a good 3 days,i really want an SS,but i'll take a Z28 its gotta be an auto & have ttops,its cool if i get a Z28 because i have an SS wing in storage,i will leave the Z28 badges on,but like how the SS wing looks & i will buy a SS hood as well,i once passed
up a 02 low milage(63,000) to be exact SS up because it was a hardtop,it was very well kept,but i would not have liked it if i got it because it was a hardtop im a ttop guy

I want to have all my dream cars all at once & they all have LS Engines...i have one already 3 more to go

2000 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6>own this one already
2001-02 Chevrolet Camaro SS/Z28>currently searching for one
2005-06 Pontiac GTO>sometime after the Camaro
2004-12 Corvette>undecided maybe before the GTO or after the GTO idk yet
