Few pictures from Friday's Street Car Shootout

Nothing special but I thought I would share a few pictures of me lined up at the drag strip a few nights ago.

Won both of these races pretty handily.

Loved seeing a 5.0 in my rear view =)

Good times man! Shootouts are fun. We have the 'Midnight Drags' up in Tulsa on weekends through the summer season, and I think well into the fall even. I like to see the variety of cars coming through, from 'My Mom's Fairlady Z, she doesn't know I'm here' to 'It's so fast I have to fix it every time I race' <<<lol

What did you and the 5.0 run as far as times? Full 1/4 or 1/8th? Just wondering

The local track here is only an 1/8. I'm going to a 1/4 for another shootout next month and we have the last shootout at that 1/8 in November! I'm in WV, shits gonna be cold!

I ran an 8.3x at 87.xx but they cut the slips in half so I never saw his. Last time I ran a few 5.0s at test and tune and they were consistent at 8.8-9. And a new 2ss with only cold air was around the same times. They have really surprised me. Im not sure if its altitude or what it is. One was an auto so I dont want to say it was just terrible drivers.
