    2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6

    Factory Camaro Colors

    This is a great looking Camaro,i really like the color its like a Purple Metallic,the car is a 97 was this color original from the factory? How long did GM use Purple Metallic paint on fbodys?

    From what I understand, they used that color for 2 years, 97 and 98. It is called bright purple metallic. Pretty rare color on both body styles.
