    Disappointed in Chevy

I'm here at the chevy dealer as we speak and I came lookin to purchase a vette and there isn't a single stick shift grand sport or coupe, I thought that was a little strange so I go check out all the camaros and not a single ss or ss/rs was manual I mean what the hell that's just crazy and I can't believe it... Only thing I like when I test drove a Camaro was the HUD why are there so many autos tho

not at all.. tho when you think about it..the GS was made almost exclusively to offer z06 styling with the ability to have a convertible and or a a6...for the price of a GS ..most would get a z06

a lot of older men are driving these cars because of the amount of money it takes to buy them and many of them would prefer to not have to deal with driving a stick.

Hurst and SLP are nothing alike. Hurst is a company that makes performance shifters. SLP is a once decent company (that sells after market upgrades and does special package versions on various cars) that has now gone to complete shit.

who said anything about a A4 ...A4s are done..they are a6 ....so u get just as many gears..the ability to shift them manually ..still faster than a manual trans...and keep the ease of driving in stop and go

    2008 Corvette Z06

It's not Chevrolet's fault. That dealer ordered those vehicles. Our dealer we have very little manual transmission vehicles for the simple fact that they don't sell as good. Don't get me wrong, we've sold quite a few manual cars, but 90% of the people buying new vehicles want an automatic.

    2018 Tahoe - Silver - OEM

    2008 Z06 - Velocity Yellow - BBE exhuast - Airaid CAI **sold**

    2002 Z06 - Electron Blue Metallic - D1 - E85 - 701 rwhp 687 rwtq **sold**

    2002 Z28: M6 NBM - cam and boltons - 396rwhp 357 rwtq **sold**

The traditional manual transmission (while really fun to have when driving) seems to be heading in the direction of being a thing of the past.

    That's why I bought 1 of each...

The M6 is more fun to drive but the A4 is the drag race tranny of choice for my 4th gens.

Not in the GS. The 6-speed engine is NOT the same as the engine in the A6 GS. Reason being the 6-speed cars get hand built engines that are build side by side with the Z06 engine. The manual tranny cars prove to have some extra HP over the automatics. At least that is what most of the on-line people are saying who have them on a dyno. Wouldnt doubt it.

ehh a ls3 is a ls3..to my knowledge there are only 2 engines that are hand built. The ls9 and ls7.
