Converting halos to HIDs
So I currently have aftermarket halos and my bf wants to put in HIDs and I didn't know what all to do for the install and whether the halos will work. Advice?? Please......

Just find out what size bulb is in your low beam (9006 is stock) and buy the kit in that bulb size. It will fit right in and easy to install. Unless you have a projector lense type headlight I'm pretty sure your bulb size will be 9006. Otherwise the projectors use a H1 style bulb. Good luck

Yeah I looked at the bulb size and they're 9005 and 9006. What all color temps do they offer? My bf has a wholesale account from China and he's able to get me an HID kit for around $35!!! Originally Posted by dennis ss

I was looking at the color guides and I like the 6000k and 8000k.

Artic White- 2002 Camaro SS
6000K would be the best out of the two colors. The higher the K rating the lower the light output. 4300K is the brightest and whitest of HIDs. Also, HIDs tend to color shift as they age. They will get bluer.

Don't do the highs, you'll never use 'em. Take a look at DDM tuning. They're cheap and have a lifetime warranty. I've got the 6000k kit from them.
I personally don't like the non-projector style headlights and will be switching mine out soon.
