taking them out, then tuning out the rear o2's...or you can put in o2 sims.

I guess I still need more info. How do I do this the right way?If I pull the front two O2 sensors how do I tune out the rear? And if I use O2 sims will I get a check engine light? How do I do away with the front O2 sensors?I thought the fuel system needed all 4 to get the air to fuel mix right?

You can't get rid of the front O2 unless you do a SD tune.

I guess the most important question is why would you want to remove the front 02's?
Speed Density Tune.

You can remove the cats and rear 02's. Either get sims or tune the rears out.

You need the front 02's, you can remove the rear set of 02's and replaced them with sims.

So when i build the new Y-pipe I need to put in two o-2 bungs (one each side) and then just put sims on the rear set?I won't get the SES light with this config.?

Correct.

the pre-cat o2's help the comp determine a/f ratio...so you need those unless you switch over to a speed density setup, which you don't need. the after-cat o2's show if the cats are working properly or not by comparing the o2 before and after the cats.
I've heard a few cases where the car threw a code when having sims...so you might wanna have them tuned out....

you'll need a professional to tune them out...unless you own the proper software (hpuners, ls1edit...) and a laptop. That runs from 150-450 if you want to get it dyno tuned. Depending on how much money you have...i'd do the FRA mod, port the TB(about 125 on s2performance.com...or free if you have the know how and tools). Put a 2.5 in y-pipe and remove the cats like you wanted...and get some pacesetter long tube headers(350 or so). Then have it dyno tuned and they'll remove the o2 codes along with tune your car.
