    '69 Z/28 Camaro
    Charles Page
    Columbus, OH

Charles bought this Z/28 Camaro back in 1971 for a mere 1,300 clams. It only needed a left front fender, a grille, a bumper, and a new clutch. Fast-forward five years and it received a fresh coat of paint and hadn't seen the rain since '72. What's crazier? It still has the rear sneakers that he purchased in 1976. Charles admits his Camaro doesn't get driven much these days; it's got less than 50k on the clock. But the Muncie four-speed 302 will clock 12.33 at 110 mph on the track. Not bad for stock trim.
    Working Man's '67
    '67 Chevelle
    Brian Young
    Jefferson, TN

When you use the best, good things happen. Brian's '67 is a prime example of how even the working man can drive a sweet ride. His Merlin 540 is stuffed with an Eagle crank and rods, SRP pistons, and AFR heads with Jesel shaft-mount rockers. A Moroso pump and pan control oil flow while the 1,050-cfm carb fuels the fire. Out back, a fortified 12-bolt with 4.11:1 cogs and Moser axles transfers the 700 hp and more than 640 lb-ft of torque to the wheels.

    '91 Camaro Z28
    Jason Mayher
    Bismark, ND

It's too bad we couldn't list all of this Camaro's mods-it's got a ton. Even with 62,000 original miles on it, Jason isn't afraid to throw his third-gen through the cones at local autocross events. His rebuilt 355ci features a complete Eagle rotating assembly with Crane Gold Race Rockers sitting on AFR heads, and a TPIS Bigmouth intake and runners are fed by a Holley throttle body. For autocross duty, a C5 big brake upgrade with braided-stainless lines stops the corner carver in a hurry. 1LE sway bars, BMR strut bars, and polyurethane bushings with P275/ 35R18 BFGs aid him through the turns.
    Hot Nova
    '70 Nova
    Mike Cosculluela
    Englewood, OH

Mike Cosculluela's '70 Nova is sure to grab attention in his hometown. Not only does it have a custom hot rod-style flame paint job, but it was also fitted with fiberglass bumpers front and back along with a cowl hood. The worked-over 327ci small-block is backed by a Turbo 350 transmission, and a set of 3.73:1 cogs out back gets the rubber spinning: 16x7 and 17x8 Torq-Thrust American Racing Wheels on all four corners.
    Budget 'Maro
    '69 Camaro SS
    Timothy Land
    South Portland, ME

Like most of us, Timothy Land was on a budget, and while this car took him five years to complete, it was obviously time well spent. Tim began with a frame-off restoration; the wiring, fuel and brake systems, suspension, and interior were scrapped and replaced with original GM products. He dropped in a built 427ci small-block with GMPP aluminum heads and manifold. To get the Camaro moving, a Turbo 350 transmission was installed and mated to a Hole Shot converter and backed up with an Auburn-geared 3.55:1 10-bolt.
