Thats cool, looks similar to the same thing that was installed on the 02 SS anniversary cars.
I thought about putting a black one on my navy blue metallic SS,,,,thinking the satin/dull black decal would be barely noticable but just enough to set it off. Can't make up my mind though. Larry.

this is where I get most of my stuff. He doesnt have the hood scoop insert listed on his web site but I talked with him the other day and he said he does have the pattern to do it. I just sent him an e-mail asking how much he charges. I will get back with you on the price.
I like this appearance mod very much. Its cheap, easy to put on and takes away the plain look of the hood and makes the hood scoop stand out. Cars that can use a black insert I think look better than my red cause it stands out so much. But I plan on putting red letters on the front of my car instead of the chrome that on there already. I am going to get a red ss overlay to put on the chevy emblem on front also. This will all match really goo dwith the hood.

yea, it might be but i know if you atake it to a viynal shop they do it for just a lil. its reall easy for them. i might even have my local viynal shop do my hockey stripes. even thoes its just a sticker, im a perfectionist and dont mind my 25-30 for someone to make it perfect.
not really worth it to save that kind of money for that amount, when you know that will be the first thing that everybody looks at!!!IMO
