Carbon Fiber Ultra Z Hood?

does anyone know where you can buy a Carbon Fiber Ultra Z hood..? i don't know if they make it.. But if anyone does don't hesitate to post.. aight.. peace..

I don't think anyone makes a carbon fiber one. VFN is supposedly going to make a fiberglass version of the Ultra Z hood for '98-'02. SLP, who created that design, stopped making those a little while ago.

I know mine is a fiberglass hood, though I don't think there is any weight savings. I have not seen the design sold as anything other then through SLP which has now discontinued the design, but a few people still have some in stock.

Hard enough trying to find a faberglass one, wouldn't even bother to look for an ultra z in carbon fiber

I have a friend, here in Vegas, that changed out an original SS hood to carbon SS hood, he said the original weighed 51 lbs & the carbon weighed 32 lbs....

Hows the hood holding up for him. I have heard that carbon fiber usually cracks. If its a quality unit, I may do my entire body in carbon fiber, 1 of a kind and massive weight savings

He just had it put on last Sunday. It appeared to be very high quality. I don't know where he got it....I'll see if I can find out.
