    asr is worthless. I drive in the snow without it....its only meant for people who don't udnerstand the pwoer of the car...and get themselves into trouble without knowing.

    This is more/less true, I live in Downpour, Oregon and I don't have ASR on my car in this college town where Hondas and Subarus flourish and want to race you at every light... *sigh* idiots.... Just don't be an idiot and make sure you soft pedal it.

    Concur. When I was looking at the SS, the salesman insisted that ASR was one option I had to have because w/o it, I couldn't handle the car.

    I explained to the guy on my way to another dealership that I was a big boy and could handle it w/o ASR. The SS I ultimately got had every option except ASR, and I couldn't be happier

    yeah..mine has asr which i always turn it off, but its good to have when i let my brother drive cause he doesn't know how to turn it off...so he can't spin the tires to much..lol
