Can I add acceleration slip control?

I have a 1999 camaro z28 and I want to add acceleration slip control. Do they make a aftermarket package to install acceleration slip control?

Not without A LOT of work - ASR/TCS cars have 4 channel ABS vs. 3 channel, different wiring/sensors/etc. Not worth it IMO, glad my car doesn't have it.

My car has everything but leather and traction control and I did not want leather but I sure would like traction control because I have spun out once on wet leaves and wanted to know If it was a easy bolt on or not. I know it is a 1999 so it had a block plate in place of the switch witch makes me think it would be set up for traction control and just needes a switch or somthing. I dont know though

Can't just put a switch in there, my car is the same - even has the wires for the switch in the harness - but won't work. Non TCS cars have one sensor connection on top of the pumpkin (internal reluctor), TCS has sensor wiring/reluctors at each rear wheel/axle.

My SS has TCS "the Mommy button", I always turn it off, wish it would stay off unless turned on. I never drive the car in the rain so don't need it for slippery roads.

For $70, you can buy a module that does just that. I know SLP has them, but I don't know who else, if anyone else, does. Kinda pricey, but I'll probably end up buying it.

I bought that slp reversal about a month after owning my Z...very good mod since it's used everytime you start the car. I think i've pushed the asr button 4 times in the past year.

As stated before.. ASR is Chev. TCS is Pontiac.
SGS stands for Second Gear Start and is not the same type of thing. My 98 V6 had that button.. it just starts the car out in second gear instead of first so the wheels wont spin as easy in low traction conditions. Where as the traction control will use the brakes as well as retard ignition to stop wheel spin.

Have ASR torque reduction disabled with HP Tuners or similar. I did. Hell, on every car I tune I disable that garbage.

Or, simply unplug the connector under the car, just behind the driver side lower seat...

ok so i was looking through my owners manual, when i realized that when i push the "SGS" button the ASR OFF lights turns on lol and i also rememberd that when its on and i loose sum traction the low trac lights shoots on for a sec or two! and i could definitley feel it working!
