I'm looking forward to seeing it in person soon and possibly taking it for a spin. My sister shot these pics a bit ago and sent them to me. Her father-in-laws wife got it for him for his birthday.

Camaro 2SS, supposedly with the RS package.

Nope! You see that ram air opening in the first 2 pics, means V8.

The RS is an appearance package that includes differences in the wheels and a few other visual differences. I believe it's a $1200 option. I'm not 100% sure this one has it, but will know more when I go see the car in person soon. The 1SS and 2SS are the 8-cylinder models. The LS, 1LT and 2LT are the 6-cylinder models.

gotta take off that dealer sign on the top left corner on the back. also maybe change the "camaro" on the side to something like ss, but that car is flipp'n awesome nonetheless!

Does anyone know approx. How much HP this SS has? I saw one just like that in an orange or red. We both stopped and stared at eachother and SHE smiles at me. I wanted to turn but it was a woman.

Not to be all in her business. But what did it cost. I heard a dealer around here saying they are going over retail price. Demand I guess.

Manual tranny cars have the LS3 rated at 426hp while auto cars have the L99 rated at 400hp. The difference is that the auto cars have cylinder deactivation for better mpg while the manual cars do not.

yes it does...

you can see the round halo around the outside of the HID lights, and you can see the red SS emblem in the grill and on the trunk lid...

the camaro's without the RS package have white SS emblems, and they don't have the HID lights...

Nice car.

I'll probably get one, about the time I retire the 4th gen to strip only, find one with a few miles on it, get a deal. No way I'm paying 38-45k for that when I know for a fact I can get one just as well down the road for much cheaper, maybe even already slightly modified to save some aftermarket costs. Plus the after - market will be much better by then

Minus the warranty, I just can't justify buying a brand new car...
