Camaro SS LE at the Bottom of the World

This Camaro is along way from home, are there any others this far south.

This is at Bluff, the most southerly town in New Zealand , and home of the World famous Bluff oyster. 15008 kilometers from New York, 18958 kms from London and 4810 kms from the South Pole.

I wanted a classic American car and wanted something different to others around here [ a lot of Mustangs and 57 Belair Chevs and Impalla's ] and saw these Camaros on Internet and this one in LA took my fancy. Being a limited edition it should keep its value and the NZ - US dollar is very much in our favour so bought it sight unseen and got it shipped to New Zealand. It is just the standard Camaro SS LE without the SLP additions and has 70000 Miles on it, runs well and is in quite tidy order although the rear window had come unglued at the bottom. An upholsterer reglued the window back in and made a good job, got new rear brake rotors , changed headlights to RHD export japan models, and is now certified and registered. To my knowledge this is the only 35th Anniversary LE in New Zealand.
Thanks for all the good comments, Cheers from New Zealand

It's great to see that the love of these cars has spread all the way to New Zealand. You should get lots of attention with such a rare car.
P.S. Thats a great ocean view!

RHD headlights look and are exactly the same except that the beam is angled towards the left side of the road. The original headlights have no adjustment to angle them as far.
These ones are manufactured for export to countries which Camaras are exported to that drive on the left side of the road.
