i want a m6 ss or ws6 as a DD, all my miles are highway so I would have gas mileage and a sweet truck in the garage...but its what he wants that counts

although the cyclone would have a bigger "sleeper" effect, hell most people up here think Im just an F-150 with a body kit...but not for too long

I'm certainly not saying that a Camaro SS is easy to come by, but by comparison the Sy/Ty's are harder to find. If you've found a good one, I say go for that.
Then again, if money is truly no object to you, get an SS too!Hammer - hammertime.us

How much horsepower do the syclones produce? What is the 1/4 ET? I say go for the SS.

syclones can be nasty out of the hole but trap low mph in the 1/4
The SS can be made to go faster for cheaper IMO.

Syclone's ran low 13-s int the 1/4 their 0-60 were 4.6 in the rain! at least thats what the t-shirts used to say. I had a Sonoma GT. Basically a Syclone with out the turbo and the AWD. God forbid you need some new cladding for that car the bumper is $1000+ for a knock off. I gor rid of my sonoma and bought a 01 Z-28 prob the best move i ever made. How many miles are on the Sy? I would personally go with the SS its an all around better car. That and I am 6' 4 you should of seen me getting out of my Sonoma Gt it was lowered and everything. I looked like a clown!

right now i do have a Sonoma GT thats what makes me what a better more powerful syclone, for the record the syclones run about 13.3 to a 13.8 depending on driver and conditions but seeing some of the looks on peoples faces when a 15 year old truck smokes there 50,000 car makes it it worth. but yes i like both very much and do plan on getting both but not right now just cant afford both and really no room. mods might be cheaper for an ls1 but syclones can drop into the twelves easy so im still torn between the 2 right now.

Another SONOMA GT owner? We are a rare breed they only made 869 ever! I sold mine to a local body shop owner he is either putin a ls1 and a 6 speed in it or a 383. I would personally buy the Camaro SS and drop a SBC in the Sonoma GT. My freind has a 90 s-10 that is running low 10's on motor. Of course your gonna have to give the fire wall hell in some cases. This older guy i know at the gym had 2 syclones and he said they were fun be he had to replace the turbo on it and it got to be alot of $$$$$. Again god forbid you get in an accident with that car. The cladding is so expensive. I remember trying to find cladding for my Sonoma GT.

yeah they are expensive to keep up but are nice to have and it was 806 every produced, i dont feel like putting in a 350 and all that so thats not really an option i think im going with they syclone for seeing i want a car and a truck im gonna get the syclone then buy an ss later down the road.

If you're gonna mod it, go the Sy/Ty route. If you don't want to, then buy the SS and mod it.
