    Cam choice

Ok so I have a 01 z28, looking to make 380-400whp. I have a whisper lid, pasesetter long tubes, tsp long tubes, diablo sport, and now looking for a cam. And it's an A4, I wanna lower lsa (112) and been looking at a few options, the tsp 224/228, 224r, 228r. I daily drive it so I was thinking 224r but I didn't know If the 228r was a little radicle for the 231 head? Seems like everyone does heads and the 228r. And what rod length? I appreciate your help

You can do a 228 cam on stock heads and still see a substantial power increase. Through an A4, you might touch 380rwhp with that cam.

A lot of people like the 228r cam and DD their car with it. From what I've seen and read, it makes really good power for the size cam it is.

I have the TSP 233/239 on a 113 w a Yank 3600 stall, all your boltons and a few more, even untuned its pretty streetable, I'm pretty sure its gonna be close to 400rwhp. . . and it sounds nasty, especially through the cutout. I will let u know how the dyno goes next week.
