Build ###'s?
What is the importance of Build #'s? I've seen many posts on here about people trying to find out their Build #, and I don't see the importance in it. Explain this to me please.
2nd question is...How come I only see people asking Build #'s for WS6 and SS's. What about us Z28 guys/gals. How do we find out our Build #?Nut

LPM- 2000 Camaro SS
SS's and Firehawks (well, the old ones, anyway) actually have build numbers.
The rest only have VIN's.
My user name contains my build number.
A low build number indicates a car produced early in the model year.Cheers,

1994 Z28 MQBM- 2001 SS #1629 LPM
A Z28 does not have a specific build number. This was something that SLP put in the Birth Certificates and on head plates for the SS. Firehawks may have had something similar but I am not sure. ASC has build numbers for the WS6 as well. I am not really sure how else to explain it......
