borla exhaust
I just got my borla XR-1 welded up and it sounds mean! I love it and I'm happy I upgraded from flowmaster. I don't have any cats so its nice and loud.

Borla has been the favorite tone of all the exhausts I have had. I miss it. Congrats on getting yours and enjoying it

Is it just louder than the flow? or is the tone better? I was looking into the flow but i have noticed not too many ppl have em!

Its a lot louder and just a better sound than the flowmaster I had. It flows a lot better as well. Its a very unique sound and I love it, I will use borla on my vette later this year. I recommend the XR-1 to anybody with an F-body. I still have to make a sound clip, hopefully tomorrow

old thread. but do you guys think it would be a good idea to run a xr1 on the ipipe before the cutout? and running the borla muffler at the back?
basictly making a borla catback/xr1. i want something to help with the cutout dump truck sound. i was looking at sweet thunders but i heard they don't flow that great with ypipe setups
