I painted Prestons (Y2KPewterSS) with a rattle can.. He had a spare that I did and he put it on his car. All I did to the panel was clean it of all wax etc. I used a Scotch Brite to scuff the paint so the new paint would hold. Then I did about 3 coats 1 at a time with a small dry time in between.

I showed him the CCW's.. He bought his before I bought mine. But there was a Black SS on Tech that had them. I had not at that time seen them on any other F-Body. Not saying people didnt have them. I just only saw it on that one SS. When P saw the CCW's he stated the same as me. Must have them on the car. Almost all of his build is him. He has just had help.

i did mine in my garage with a spray can
i would highly reccomend grabbing a spare from a junk yard so if you screw it up its not a big deal.
i sanded it down real good then just washed it several time to get all the dust off, then just shook away....i wanna say i did 4 coats (flat black for my tastes) and then swapped it over
