Anybody with a functional ram air hood...

What modifications have you done to take advantage of this? I like the design of the ultra-z style hood and it seems like a volant cai will seal perfectly underneath it. Does anyone here have that setup?

    TruFiber Ultra Z (Functional)

I went with the Ultra Z by TruFiber because it is the most solid and mounts 100% to OEM Hardware. While I used hood pins, that was for looks, absolutely not necessary!

The air discharge from scoop aligns almost perfect with the airbox feed and allows a 3/4 gap as a drainage back up for the scoop H2O drain ports just to keep water out of the intake. When we tuned the car we used high velocity fans to simulate high speed driving and the HP pick was definate there anywhere above simulated 25MPH, so the benefit of enhancing the natural aspiration seems to have been accomplish.

By eliminating all bottom feeding ducting I have room for cooler and was able to go with the billet grill. Custom paint and mods by my group here Tallahassee S&S Performance, we can get the best price on TF hoods through resellers agreement.

Now just an aggresive CAM and Heads Swap and we'll have a pretty tough little Naturally Aspirated hot rod...
