To do the whole car 15k. Thats handling and everything. No, not a daily driver just a toy.

Silver- 2000 Camaro SS
2 basic options:
do some motor work... get new cylinder heads, a big cam, could do a stroker kit... should get u way up there. then, for extra power, spray a shot of nitrous, 150, 200, 250, whatever u want
go FI.... supercharger or turbo. as for turbos, check out STS turbos.

Find an older camaro or some kind of old school muscle car with a big hood. Doesnt have to be in good condition lets say 1 thousand dollars so you would have another 14 to plat with. Next you go to www.summitracing.com and buy a chevy 502, or 572, or even the 602 or whatever you can find, it would be like another 1-13 grand. No turbos no superchargers and nos and you would easily have 550 hp STOCK lol

I already have an automatic trans. 2001 SS and it's still all stock. I'm just wantin to be one of the first chicks around here to have a Bad Ass car with that much HP. I'd like to put a Turbo on it since if something goes wrong I won't have to change pullies, idlers etc. But how much boost can I push on stock internals? And as far as cam, what's the best ones to use if I go FI? What kind of heads if I go FI with stock internals?

With that kind of money I would go to a custom performance shop. Like Katech or something and have them do everything. They make amazing engines.

a red 1 and a silver 1- 1993,2000 z28
stock insides= 7-10 psi with GREAT tune and a front mount, and trust 15 k will get you started, if you are set on that goal of 550, then id do a forged bottom end(just piston and rods wit arp boats) and a procharger(this is what im doing now) you will be were you want to be and have little probs with it, turbos cost as LOT and there are no kits(other that STS) that are out there so your going to have to fab something up(more $$$) that HP number is ez to get with the prochargers and Bob from EPP is great for helping people out
thats my .02 if any ??? pm me
gppd luck
