Are you running spacers by chance?

Sorry to hear about that, glad you weren't hurt though. Did it mess up your wheel or car any?

Friend of mine had the same thing happen to him, except he was doing 55-60 down the highway. His passenger rear tire went rolling in front of him and his LCA took the majority of the beating. Upon further inspection one or two of his driver side rear studs was weakened considerably as well. I would highly recommend getting ARP wheel studs for both sides if you are going to continue running spacers. Spacers are prone to shearing wheel studs.

One of our site sponsors, Thunder Racing has them, here is a link for you:

Nothing welded, getting the old ones out might be a huge PIA though. One trick I learned long time ago about getting the new ones pulled all the way through, is to take a lugnut and put it on the stud and tighten down onto it to pull it into place.

I would not run spacers on a performance car! Too dangerous!
