For all the high mileage guys

I just dynoed my 99 Z28 M6 today and remember seeing alot of posts with people asking how the high mileage cars are holding up. So I figure I will post my numbers since my car is pretty much stock. It has 136K on it and when I got it the only mod is a SLP air lid. My clutch is worn so I think it cost me a couple but its still a good base line.

    RWHP: 288
    RWT : 308

So there ya go. I did two pulls and on the 2nd pull it was up 6 RWHP but there was a big line so I didn't get to do another to see if it went up anymore.

    That's pretty good
I dynoed mine 2 yrs ago on a Dynapack. At 109K miles and on the original clutch she made 300 RWHP and 322 RWTQ. Only mods were an SLP lid and a 3" Flowmaster SOTL Catback.

i would like to get mine dyno'd but i cant justify dropping a few hundred dollars to have it down. 99 z28 w/172k. k and n filter and flowmaster super 40 muffler, otherwise stock. im just curious because of the high miles.

im not sure what it would cost. ive just heard around here on the board that people have been saying a couple hundred is what to expect to pay. so i could be, and am more than likely wrong. but just going off what others have said.

Youre probably thinking dynotunes those can run a couple hundred

dynoruns are cheaper around 60-90 bucks.

its typical that an older engine looses power due to all that compression leaking somewere.
