    98 z28 camaro ls1 and trans rebuild question??

    I'm about to trade my 98 rs for a z28 but the engine and trans are out and ready for a rebuild on the z28... How much should I look to pay for engine trans rebuild with mild cam?? The guy I tradin with got a quote for engine rebuild wit cam for 1250 .. About how much for trans?? And can anyone on here do it cheaper?!?! I'm located near indianapolis, indiana.. Thanks for help..     it's because I'm tradin my rs with a new 3800 for a z28 that has the ls1 and trans out and ready for a rebuild and mild cam.... Any1 got advice

    OP i would say the total would be 3-4k with the engine and trans already out.
