Go to a chevy dealer and try to order one. They are a pain to install

Hawks 3rd gen has them for $50 plus $10 to ship. They obviously sell 4th gen parts too!

If you order, tell Bruce Hawkins that I said his customer service is great.

yeah, I didn't read your post closely - sorry. If no one answers then I would think you could take the whole light to an electronics supply store or even Radio Shack and ask someone there what they think you have. You might need to take the light apart to get at one of the leds. Just a guess but it appears you have a problem with the light anyway. Are some of the diodes not emitting?

I don't think the LED bulbs are replaceable or repairable. If you have one that is out,,,the only way I have been able to fix it is buy a new brake light assembly. They are still available through GM,,,I checked the price about 2 weeks ago,,,$120.00 at my local dealer.
This is why I don't think the LED lights are all they are cracked up to be,,,good old fashion light bulbs is the way I prefer to go. Hope you get something figured out or have better luck than I did. Larry.
