3 years later, finally some decent pictures

My wife is a photographer, and I finally got her to take some pictures of my car. Its pollen season here so my car looked like it had been in a barn for years this morning, it was totally yellow, cat paw prints, pollen pods, leaves....disgusting. All i managed to do was a quick rinse with the power washer and drove to a nice spot.

She did a wee bit f photoshopping, mostly just to correct the inadequacies of my camera. color correction, cut out some glare, etc.

I like the first one best. Question... If your wife is a photographer, why didn't she use her camera? She probably has a nice DSLR, no?

Thats where it gets complicated.....

Long story short, she borrows equipment that's worth more than my car when she takes pics for money. Pics for us, she uses my Canon Rebel Xt...its a 9 megapixel, but it doesn't have nearly the features shes used to.

Her real talent though is the photoshop/graphic design end. Other photographers send her pictures of kids/families and she makes birthday invites, christmas cards, etc.

I'll keep her in mind when I do my shoot this year. I have nice equipment, but am lacking in the photoshop skills area. I have the software too though.

yeah John thatd be cool...her forte is babies and families, but shes developed a love for inanimate objects, like cars

and she literally did these in about 10 minutes, i told her to do as little editing as possible, just enough to make them look more like the car actually looks.. I want to know what she can do if she really got into it. I had to get onto her because she was zoomed way in getting rid of water spots on the side mirror, lol....shes a little OCD
