I just got a flyer in the mail saying that my local chevy dealer is going to unveil the 2010 Camaro May 6th 2009 7pm Roger Dean Chevy WPB, Fl, says there is going to be discounted rates ............ Like I belive that.

Hey I just got off with my dealer and all 2010's will be MSRP and not a penny more. If you get better than that plz let me know I would love to have one of these bad boy's in my driveway.

You are correct. Dealers are actually being forced to sell all Camaro's at MSRP becuase of the amount of advertising dollars went into making sure people know they are priced to sell (ie. price vs. Mustang) Plus they will not be limited at all, the plant is set up to manufacture the vehicle on quite a large scale. Look for top of the line SS models to be under $35k, and base V6 to start at $22k. I think we will all be impressed.

I just got back from my local Chevy dealer and they said April 6th. Maybe my guy was off a month... Hope not though.

The cars for the unveiling are all 6 cylinder models randomly ordered by Chevrolet. They are being built & stockpiled for shipment. Your dealer might get a v6 with 6 speed manual with the barf tan interior. They have no say in options or colors. (We refer to these as YAHTZEE cars.They have a bunch of dice with options on them & they roll em out & wahla!! You got a morphodite car order!) You bet they'll discount it ! Some dealers might be lucky & get an orange automatic. It will sell. But theres gonna be alot of "Who the hell ordered this???"

I just got to drive one on Friday!! It was only a v6 but it was the M6 with the RS package. Talk about a comfortable ride. I think all of you will be impressed when they finally come out.

I talked to the chevy dealership here in town and they said the same thing. They are getting three of them on may 10th and said they will be priced to sell. I hope they get an M6 V8 model cause I want to drive one.

Just remember a dealer can make money other ways on a sale of a car such as interest rates too. Its not uncommon for a dealer to get kick backs from banks they do business with. So even if you call around from Dealer to Dealer looking for the best price on the car, it may not actually be the best deal without knowing finance charges to get the total price of the car.
