I just bought this car from a guy and this thing is bone stock .. any suggestions on where to begin upgrading performance wise to make it a bad ass camaro?

Hey a local welcome man.
It all comes down to how much money you have and where you want the car to shine. headers are a nice start, if you can throw in a cam then you will should be happy for a while. Some will say ls-6 manifold, but the gains will only be noticeable if you get the cam, and if you could only get one over the other then a cam and headers would be great. There is someone locally selling a 224r 112 lsa cam for 200 which is a bloody steal. A 224 w/ headers, and ls-6 gets most anywhere from 390-400whp, or a mid-high 12 sec ride depending on driving familiarity with the car.
oh and pics or ban.

Here's the link

Introduce yourself while your at it since it's the local forum. A good driver w/ a stock m6 is capable of bottom 13's, these cars stock w/ slicks do 12.6-12.8 all day until the rear end shits. Yes rear ends are the weak link you being an m6 just puts one more nail in the coffin. If money is not a problem then you should spend some extra on a bigger cam again it comes down to goals good luck.
