does anyone know if you can override the head lights if they are auto's ? is there a switch like every other gm car ? reason asking is cause i drive onto base every morning and the guards ask that you kill your lights as for their safety.

Seriously? Before you start your car, make sure your emergency brake is engaged. Start the car. Disengage the emergency brake, but not completely. Don't let it lay perfectly flat, but just above it. This will allow you to drive around without the autos kicking on, but depending on how tight your cable is, could also stress your brake system. This is the only way that I know of

not sure if it would work, but shine a bright light on the sensor on your dash (ie cell phone/ handheld led) again no idea, never had auto headlights, think i read something that overrides them let me find it..
