sucker would go 0-60 in 10 seconds flat, hit a deer with it, insurance paid me $1,000.00 and let me keep the car, I sold it to a friend who rebuilt and sold it to somebody else who drove it for another 40k miles

I had a 1975 Camaro..the year they didn't offer a Z28, my uncle bought it brand new. I tried my best to talk him into the RS, but no can do. I did get him to order it with a posi rear end though. At that time the RS came with the 350, it wasn't the 6 banger version it became later on. I put a cowl hood on it many years afterward, and it looked ridiculous, but hey I was a kid. He [my uncle] later launched it Dukes of Hazard style (literally got it airborne) into a fire hydrant during a diabetic sugar attack, they all thought he was drunk, and the car was never really the same.(duh) After he passed, I eventually gave it away to one of those "Give us your car foundations". I'll never forget that car, he ordered it in metallic green with tan interior, he was color blind...true story.
